Recovery and Healing Timeline

You’ll experience some swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort, which is completely normal. Pain is typically managed with prescribed medications. You’ll wear a compression headband to minimize swelling. Most patients can return home the same day as their procedure.

First Week (Days 4-7)

Swelling and bruising gradually decrease. You can resume light activities like walking and gentle stretching. Sutures are typically removed around day seven. You may experience some numbness or tightness in the forehead, which is temporary and resolves as healing progresses.

Two to Three Weeks

Most patients can return to work and normal daily activities. Residual swelling continues to diminish. You can resume light exercise, though strenuous activities should still be avoided. Makeup can be applied to cover any remaining bruising.

Four to Six Weeks

You can gradually return to more strenuous activities and exercise. Most swelling has resolved, and you’ll begin to see your final results taking shape. Avoid heavy lifting and intense workouts for at least six weeks.

Three to Six Months

Final results continue to improve as any residual swelling completely resolves and scars mature. The full benefits of your brow lift become apparent, with a naturally elevated brow and smoothed forehead lines.
