Dermal Fillers
Many individuals can diminish signs of aging and rejuvenate the appearance of their face without the need for surgical procedures and the associated downtime. With dermal fillers, our Harvard-trained, Stafford Broumand, MD smooth fine lines and wrinkles, reduce deep creases and folds, and add volume to areas such as the cheeks, midface, temples, chin and lips. In addition, several of these treatments can also be employed to help rejuvenate the appearance of the hands and diminish lines and bands on the neck.
At 740 Park Plastic Surgery, Dr. Broumand utilize a special technique known as the Dermasculpt® Microcannula to help maximize patient comfort during injectable treatments. The Dermasculpt® Microcannula uses a hollow, ultra-fine instrument and diamond-tip needle to deliver the injectable solution gently underneath the skin. As a result, patients generally do not require a topical anesthetic, and virtually no pain, bruising and/or downtime is typically experienced. Depending on the number of areas being addressed, most injectable treatments take about 30 minutes or less to administer, allowing many patients to receive treatment on their lunch break.
