Skin rejuvenation treatments from ThermiAesthetics™ utilize a temperature-controlled radiofrequency generator system called ThermiRF™. This FDA-approved device employs radiofrequency energy to help diminish various signs of aging by lifting, tightening, and smoothing the skin for a rejuvenated aesthetic. At our practice, Dr. Broumand and Dr. Maman offer three ThermiAesthetics™ treatments: ThermiRase™, ThermiTight™, and ThermiSmooth™.
ThermiRase™
ThermiRase™ by ThermiAesthetics™ is a minimally invasive treatment intended to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles by preventing muscle contractions below the skin. During the procedure, a combination of electrical and radiofrequency pulses are first utilized to identify nerves responsible for muscle contractions. Once located, controlled radiofrequency energy is emitted into a portion of the nerve via the ThermiRF™ device, effectively inhibiting it from contracting the specific muscle responsible for the wrinkle(s).
ThermiTight™
ThermiTight™ by ThermiAesthetics™ is a minimally invasive treatment designed to tighten skin on the face, neck, chest, back, and/or arms through the use of radiofrequency energy. During this procedure, the ThermiRF™ system is used to deliver temperature-controlled radiofrequency energy into deep tissue layers of the targeted area, helping to stimulate new collagen growth without harming surrounding tissues.
ThermiSmooth™
ThermiSmooth™ by ThermiAesthetics™ is a non-invasive technique that can help smooth skin on the face, neck, and various other regions of the body. During treatment, a precise degree of controlled heat is emitted as the ThermiSmooth™ handpiece is gently moved around the targeted area. Once skin tissues reach a specific temperature, old collagen will start to contract and the production of new collagen will be stimulated, ultimately creating a smoothing effect on the surface of the skin.
For all ThermiAesthetics™ treatments, the length of the procedure will depend on the number of areas being addressed. Some temporary side effects – such as redness and/or swelling – may be possible, though these should diminish shortly. Most patients are able to return to work and normal daily activities within a few days, if not immediately. In some instances, multiple treatment sessions may be necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
