Restylane®

Dr. Stafford Broumand is renowned for his exceptional skill and artistry in achieving natural, rejuvenated results.

At our practice, our board-certified plastic surgeon offers a wide span of injectable treatments, including three innovative products from the Restylane® family: Restylane®, Restylane® Lyft, and Restylane® Silk. Each composed of naturally occurring hyaluronic acid (HA), these dermal fillers are designed to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles while helping to augment and enhance particular areas of the face for a beautifully natural-looking and rejuvenated aesthetic.

Restylane

The traditional Restylane solution is specially formulated to minimize lines and wrinkles, improve skin elasticity, and restore lost volume in the treatment area. For the majority of patients, this filler option can be particularly beneficial around the corners of the nose and mouth, as well as below the lower eyelids. On average, the results attained with Restylane last approximately six months to a year, and touch-up treatments can typically be received to maintain the filler’s effects for longer.

Restylane Lyft

Restylane Lyft is uniquely designed to aid in volume restoration in regions such as the cheeks, jawline, corners of the nose, and temples. In addition, this innovative filler can help improve skin elasticity as well as diminish fine lines and wrinkles in the treatment area. The results of Restylane Lyft usually endure for about six to twelve months, and an ideal outcome can often be maintained thereafter with occasional touch-up treatments.

Restylane Silk

Comprised of a smoother HA solution than the other Restylane products, Restylane Silk is designed to subtly add volume to the lips for improved contour and fullness. Additionally, it can often be a great option for smoothing fine lines located above the mouth. Results achieved with Restylane Silk have been known to last for six months—if not longer—and once the effects start to subside, touch-up treatments can usually be received to preserve a lasting outcome.

The Restylane Procedure

To perform Restylane injections, Dr. Stafford R. Broumand utilizes a state-of-the-art technique that helps minimize discomfort throughout the course of treatment. Known as the Dermasculpt® Microcannula, this advanced method consists of a thin, hollowed instrument and diamond-tip needle used to gently deliver the specified Restylane solution below the skin until an ideal aesthetic is attained. Thanks to this careful approach, the majority of patients do not require an anesthetic of any kind, and most experience little to no bruising and/or downtime following treatment. The entire Restylane procedure takes an average of about 30 minutes to complete, though this will vary based on the number of concerns being addressed.

Restylane Recovery

Although rare, any bruising and/or swelling that may be experienced following treatment should dissipate relatively quickly and not prevent most individuals from returning to normal daily routines immediately. However, it is often advised that any vigorous exercise or strenuous physical activities be avoided for a short period of time. Once the rejuvenative effects of the selected Restylane product begin to wear off, retreatment can often help prolong an optimal result.
